We went on a cruise on the Thompson Majesty in early October around the Adriatic. The weather was really good and the temperature was ideal. I’m not sure I would want to do a cruise in the eastern Mediterranean in the summer months as the heat is likely to be overbearing. The ship is excellent with all the usual facilities. The food was very good and the waiter’s as usual were very friendly. It was somewhat more casual than some previous cruises taken. Casual dress in the restaurant for the evening meals, apart from the Captain’s Cocktail evening. No ties seen. A few children but otherwise mostly most ages well represented although a slight bias to the older generation. This cruise went to interesting places which is the main concern for me rather than the facilities on the ship. Having just 1500 passengers meant that it was not the huge small town size type ship that provide huge number of facilities andare slightly impersonal. I would be happy to go on another Thompson ship again. .
